Mountain Springs Pet Policy

All pets must be pre-approved by MSC staff.

Our pet-friendly cabins are the Gatehouse Cottage, the Potting Shed, the Maples, the Katydid, and the Cricket.  The word pet refers to dogs only on this site.  We apologize, but due to allergy issues, we cannot invite your cats to our cabins. We do have our MSC mascot cats that you may love on and enjoy during your stay (Outside). Dogs are allowed in designated pet-friendly cabins only. Pets are $10 ea. Two pets maximum Pets must be pre-approved (breed & age). There is a $200 pet security deposit.

Outdoor Rules

• Your pet must be kept on a leash any time it is out of the cabin & on the property.
• Each pet-friendly cabin has its own walking area and we have a designated larger area where you may walk or run your dog.
• Dogs are not permitted in public areas or near the stream, unless you are in The Cricket cabin.
• Please bring the necessary supplies (plastic bags, pooper scoop) and clean up after your pet or you will be charged.

Indoor Rules

• If the pet is left alone in the cabin it must be crated. If you do not have a crate, check with our office. We have a large one that may be rented (IF available).
• We ask that you cover the sofa or any furniture your pet may want to sit on with a comforter or quilt (you must provide this). Pets over 10 lbs. are not permitted on furniture.
• There should be absolutely no evidence that a pet has occupied the cabin when you check-out. Vacuum cleaners are provided in each cabin. If your pet is a shedder you may want to bring a lint roller with you (not provided in cabins). If there is any pet hair found we will have to charge you for the extra detailed cleaning. We greatly appreciate your attention to cleanliness.
